KILL THEM ALL!

Monday, August 18, 2008

You’ve probably heard of this news already. Just hours ago, a band of around 100 MILF thugs ambushed soldiers from the Philippine Army’s 103rd brigade of the 5th Infantry Battalion, who were on their way to deliver salaries and allowances of militiamen in Lumbayaneg and Lumbatan towns in Lanao del Sur. Seven soldiers were killed and at least twelve were wounded.

There exists a ceasefire agreement between the GRP and the MILF. The “peace process”, amidst the public outrage over the treasonous memorandum of agreement (MOA) on ancestral domain, is still underway. The innocent soldiers of the 103rd brigade could not have provoked those MILF bandits. There is no reason, therefore, for the MILF to do this treacherous act.

Yesterday’s ambush only shows that it is stupid, really stupid, for the government to even talk with this rebel group. This only proves that the MILF, who doesn’t even represent the Filipino Muslims in Mindanao, is devoid of any dedication for peace. That those rebels are mere terrorists who live and die by their guns.

Enough is enough. The full might of the Armed Forces of the Philippines must now be mobilized to disarm those bandits and to bring them to justice.

Annihilate the MILF once and for all. That’s the best way to achieve lasting peace.

its time for the non-muslims to fight back. kill every muslim you see! kill em all!!!

Posted by GengisKan at August 21, 2008, 7:34 am

Mr. GengisKan. Yhis mindset of yours is not only stupid, but dangerous as well. Yours is the kind of mentality that destroys the efforts to build a secular society where Muslim, Christians, athieists, etc. co-exists.

This is not a problem of Muslims versus Christians. It’s a problem of Filipinos versus bandits, of peace-loving people versus mercenaries.

Wake up. Your bigotry has no place in the 21st century.

Well, he is Genghis Khan.

Genghis Khan was not a bigot, caro. In fact, he tolerated all cultures and traditions.

Although “Kill Them All” for a post title isn’t really so diplomatic (hehe), I agree with you on every point. Couldn’t agree more, J.

What I like about this blog is that it actually publishes every political and social opinion I have in mind. Haha. Thereby keeping me from starting my own political blog. (Haha, sinisi daw kita!)

Posted by yoshke at August 22, 2008, 4:13 am

LOL yoshke. But glad we agree.

Youth is wasted on the young, or so they say. Calls such as this doesn’t bring any good to the country; well, not when friends you know by name and smell have perished in the battle field.

In time you’ll mellow down and be more objective. I say the same prayer to the MILF hot heads.

Another round of war in Mindanao is not an option. Only PEACE is.

Posted by Marvin at August 24, 2008, 4:06 am

On the other hand, peacenicks like you are the ones who are not objective.

Now tell me, what kind of “peace” do you want? How do you achieve “peace”?

We’ve reached out to these people for so long now, but it’s clear that they are not committed to peace. They live and die by their guns.

Hi J,

Spot on J!

No two ways to go about it — some kind of peace can be achieved when the likes of these bandits, warlords and armed rebels are put away for good.

And when Gloria stops playing footsie with the Malaysians.

“Si vis pacem para bellum” (If you want peace, prepare for war!”) But how can this be possible when our own government leaders and top military officers are in cahoots with the rebels? I was dobsmacked to read that Maj Gen Rudy Garcia turned ambassador of some sort (whom I happened to know well and whom I had once believed to be a good soldier and officer, a Mindanao veteran from way back when he served under Gen J Nazareno, Erap’s first CSAFP) is the first one to rush to KL to appease the MILF-MNLF and the Malaysians! Sanamagan!

Our own AFP leadership have to be “decimated” too to pave the way for new blood — the surrender monkeys within our own AFP are also responsible for the balkanization of RP. AFP ineptitude is fueled by the moral and financial corruption that has permeated the ranks of the armed forces.

Posted by AdB at August 25, 2008, 7:14 am

And, guess what, Ana, the US and the Malaysians are like competing for MILF patronage too, all for their respective interests while the RP was selling out its own for the Gloria Forever train.

At Ding’s blog, there’s a rumor that US aid to the Bangsamoro development agency is actually being channeled to the MILF. I don’t know if this is true, but I suspect it s.

Good thing the AFP is flexing its muscles now.

Re: “there’s a rumor that US aid to the Bangsamoro development agency is actually being channeled to the MILF. ”

Hmmm… Could that be the reason for the recent letter written by a rebel leader to the US president (if I’m not mistaken).

The US needs a friendly foothold in the South — to keep watch on the Straits there yonder that they use as a lane for communicating with the Gulf.

Even before the VFA was signed and sealed, the US was already building airstrips in the South and was using Cebu (Mactan Air Base) as a watering ground for establishing that foothold.

RP might have kicked out US bases officially but the US maintains officious bases in Pinas more specifically in the South. The Aussies have joined the mellée by fielding operatives on RP soil — the Aussies today have the largest intel contingent on RP soil, more than the Americans. I guess that is so in order to keep the “heat” off the Americans.

Posted by AdB at August 25, 2008, 9:54 am

AdB: yep. The Malaysians desperately wanted to keep the US out of the IMT because the Malaysians wanted to be the MILF’s padrino.

But the US knew better. They sent the USIP. And they had the Japanese and the Aussies as their proxies.

If we believe Herman Tiu Laurel’s sources, the Americans have been building roads in the South that can accommodate landings of big planes. One wonders what on earth would a fishing port need such a facility for.

The American USIP have been giving lectures on “ancestral domains” and “Moro identity” to govt. officials, students and soldiers since 2003 (the year Hashim Salamat wrote Bush seeking his assistance and pointing to the Bates Treaty that, he says, proves that the Moros are distinct from Filipinos).

In my previous blog post, I mentioned that no less than Negroponte came to town secretly right after the MOA was TROed. And that Kenney had been meeting, in a Muslim veil mind you, with MILF chair and presumptous head of state Murad.

And on top of all these, Eid Kabalu has said that the MILF is open to negotiations on establishment of US bases in the proposed BJE.

And Kenney, who flew to KL to witness the signing of the MOA, when asked if he thinks the BJE, which her govt. clearly supported, would result to dismemberment of RP, she said she hadn’t read the MOA yet!?! And the US Embassy, now that the MOA has been exposed as what it is, says they are for peace within RP’s territorial integrity and sovereignty?

I might be young but I wasn’t born yesterday.

Re: And Kenney, who flew to KL to witness the signing of the MOA, when asked if he thinks the BJE, which her govt. clearly supported, would result to dismemberment of RP, she said she hadn’t read the MOA yet!?!

Guess what… I don’t believe she hasn’t read it yet.

Her answer sounded to me like a typical a diplomatic double speak.

Posted by AdB at August 26, 2008, 8:53 pm

Exactly what me thinks, Ana.

Posted by J at August 27, 2008, 11:38 am

Those who believe that peace can be achieved without bloodshed are fooling themselves.

The silence of peace cannot be heard without the thundering of guns.

If one wants peace, one needs to to fight for it.
