Unlike in other Lyceum colleges, we can’t plot our own schedules at the College of International Relations. The College uses the bloc system, where students are grouped according to their academic performance.
This coming semester, I only have two subjects (Philippine Political Conditions and Philippine Foreign Policy) for Mondays and Thursdays. But my schedule for Tuesdays and Fridays is really weird:
| TIME | SUBJECT |
| 8:30- 10:00 | Logic |
| 10:00- 11:30 | Introduction to International Trade |
| 11:30- 1:00 | Political and Economic Geography |
| 1:00- 2:30 | Introduction to International Relations |
| 2:30- 4:00 | Perspectives on Civilization II |
Why the hell are they not allowing us to have a freakin’ lunch break?!

On a more serious note, I’m so glad I’ll be having major subjects this semester. At last, I can feel I’m in college now!
thanks liz. i think i would bring packed lunch on Tues and Fris this coming sem.
heck, you might as well teach these subjects.

Posted by J at June 3, 2008, 3:19 pmLogic is not a major subject! At least the Supreme Court doesn’t think so.

I have 6 subjects more than yours which are 5???
But thank God.. I have 4 a half Hours vacant period from 8:30-11:30 a.m. were I can eat my lunch and another 2:30-4:00 p.m. for my early dinner.

Posted by Ivy at July 6, 2008, 10:54 amHi Ivy.
Yeah, my Monday Thursday schedule really sucks too.
I have to attend class without lunch break from 8:30 to 4:00.. then I have to catch the 4:15 train so I can arrive at work by 5:00. I work from 5:00pm to 10:00pm. That means I don’t have even a minute to eat or rest from eight in the morning ’till ten in the evening during Mondays and Thursdays. Lol, that makes me feel like Superman.

lol, ang technique diyan, be late. ^_^ well at least in UP if you come in within ten minutes of the time of the class, you’re not late.
and then again, it depends on the professor. some of them don’t give a fuck about scheds.
and THEN again, you can pack your lunch.
cheers to future political scientists.
